The first picture resembles a school. Churches, most of the times have insignias on the tips of the spires.
It seems he saying the island isn't the school, so he is confused, perplexed. Though... if you relate his message to our situation, it is not difficult to understand he is also disconcerted. Perhaps he lives near at school or goes to school, therefore, when we all returned to our homes, he returned to school.
I don't understand the fifth image, but it seems to imply an uncertainty, perhaps company he doesn't have.
Goodness I do not recognize any of the objects in that image. The middle back looks like some sort of weapon. On the right? They resemble knives of some sort?
In the past, some schools used to be part of churches. In several countries religion and education were closely related. I don't think that was Japan's case, though. Or it could be the image of an old school before electricity was invented. Therefore, they used a normal bell to call to class or the conclusion of the periods.
How truly interesting. Some people live and learn in Buddhist temples and after the war sometimes that was the only place for an orphan to be welcomed. So I suppose some temples serve the triple purpose of faith, education and shelter.
Acutally I rather think that he's quite a lovely boy! We should celebrate our differences, right? He's cute, and such a great artist, and has the most lovely rosy complexion~♥ Wouldn't it be boring if there were only blonde Lady Nanami's in the world?
