A new game, a new cabin and a question for Mister Lee

Miss Chacha, Mister Watanuki and I parted ways last evening. I have moved into Chitalpa Chalet with Mister Kurapika and Captain Ironfoundersson. I have not seen the good Captain but Mister Kurapika and I have settled in comfortably.

I came across Mister Watanuki strung up in the tree today and cut him down with a knife from the galley. It took a while because I do not think those knives are meant to cut rope. All the blood had rushed to his head and it took a while for him to recover himself enough to walk straight. I see he is doing much better and is back to his old spirited self now. This is such a relief. I really did not think I had the ability to exorcise the demon from his body. I also saw no bright lights in which to jump inside and save him. The demon was very aggressive as well and unlike in the movie it was not confined to a single house.

I apologise to Miss Chacha, I had no idea the movie would be quite so terrifying. Mister Watanuki, if you could just try to help her if she has nightmares, I would appreciate it.

Welcome to the newest people on the Island. I hope you are all doing well still. This place is quite trying but we must make the best of a bad situation, no?

With the interest of getting to know some of you, I have decided to pass the game along to Mister Lee. Mister Lee, truth or dare?

I'll try my best... I gave her Dolly-san and told her stories of my pipe fox. Hopefully she will dream of him battling the demons away instead of them harming her.

I know she took comfort in not sleeping alone, unfortunately I cannot be there for her in that capacity. Which may be better for her in the long run. I appreciate your help in the matter, Mister Watanuki. For all the anger of your youth, you are a good man when it matters.

The windows... don't have mosquito netting, which means the insects can freely enter the cabin.

I am quite used to sleeping without shelter, so I suppose it won't be much different for me. Perhaps we could pool some doubloons to buy some net?

Ahh... that seems like it would take a good deal of patience. Do we have an infestation? I am dropping by the trading post this afternoon for netting. I've left the needles out on the desk. Perhaps we should simply have shut the windows last evening.

Not an infestation, but there were mosquitoes and two crickets. No spiders yet.

One of the windows was stuck, I could partially close it.

The man at the trading post did not have mosquitoe netting so I had to buy several of what he calls 'pairs of nylons'. I can not understand why they are in tubes but I am certain we can cut them down the line and put them up over the worst of the windows. Unfortunately they are rather flimsy so we will have to be gentle.

Why do they come in eggs do you think?

They are a type of sock, it is the way they are packed. But, they will be useful if we handle them with care.

I am sorry to inform you, but I am not on the Island. As such, I do not know that I am required to participate in this challenge to prove ones manhood. However! I have been awaiting the return of my team for just over two days now, and I cannot see the harm in engaging in such a challenge of honor and skill!

Hmm dare. Very well then, Mister Lee. I dare you to travel north until you find buildings of some sort and then scale the tallest building you find without any sort of aid.

Of course, I am supposed to be waiting for my sensei and team mates to return for our practice session, but perhaps if I leave them a lengthy note explaining where I have gone and the nature of your challenge they will understand! Perhaps you could use a stick and use the ground as your pallet? There are probably rocks if you are near a river. You might be able to use those as well. I am sure you are a creative boy, consider it part of your dare.
