Chacha and I retrieved Mister Kurapika and Mister Watanuki and brought them back to the cabins last night. Mister Watanuki I do apologise for carrying you but it seems the incident with your computer left you less than able to walk farther on your own. It seemed unkind to wake you. You are much lighter than you look.

Miss Chacha would like to come with me to collect the swan eggs. If you would like to join us, we plan to go tomorrow, Mister Watanuki. Do you think you will be recovered by that time? I spent some of today looking for the boat house that Lady Kiryuu mentioned. It will be much easier to go down the river looking for the swans by boat, I think.

Has anyone seen any brooms? I would very much like to have something solid to protect us from the animals in the future. I have not seen my sakabatou anywhere. I really wonder who has borrowed it. I feel as though I am missing an arm. :( Miss Chacha, I have used one of the faces, just like I promised.

Mister Kurapika it was very nice to meet you, I hope you have settled in well to your new living quarters.

Go down the river?! I don't think so! I'm not going anywhere near water that has man-eating fish in it! I think one run in with them is enough for a lifetime!! The only way I am going anywhere near that river is with a body of armor and a bazooka!

I do not know what a bazooka is but I can assure you it would be most unwise to travel on water wearing a great deal of armor.

The boats should protect us from the Piranha. It is not necessary for you to come along though, if you do not wish to do so. Perhaps you can try to think of a recipe we might use the eggs in? Do you cook, Mister Watanuki?

I guess I can figure something out. HEY! There's nothing I can use in here! And what are these nasty little... is that POOP?! Is there some kind of rabid animal in our cabin also?! Do I never get a break?! I need a weapon! The animal can't be that big. Even a rolled up newspaper will work. GRRR.

Sometimes it is better when someone who knows how to cook does so. Although I have grown accustom to Lady Kaoru's cooking it was never very good. I have no animosity to her for allowing me to stay and cooking and cleaning in return.

Please calm yourself, Mister Watanuki. That is fruit that Miss Chacha found. There is a kitchen... in the same building as the Galley, I do not see any reason we cannot try to borrow a little from there.

Snowdrift Hut is quite comfortable if you ignore the mildew smell. I was convinced I would be sleeping in the forest so I cannot complain.

I have not yet met them, although I am preparing for the worst. I would feel more confident if my sakabatou was with me. I have not had the most pleasant of experiences with the wildlife I have met thus far.

Ahh yes, my apologies. It is a reverse blade sword. It is missing. You have not seen anyone with one, have you? I do not think it would be of much use to anyone aside from myself.

No, I haven't. I have never heard of a school of swordsmanship employing a reverse-blade sword.

It is a sequence, though animals tend to be unpredictable so any order is possible. It surprises me they are carnivores, though I read swans possess a muscular neck, capable of breaking the bones of the human body by biting and twisting.

I do not believe one exists. It is a personal preference. I would rather not kill and this weapon is the most useful in fights against other swords without the danger of killing the opponent.

I suspect I will have to wing it, although I hope to observe them for a few moments before making any attempts to engage them. Do they really? That is unsettling. I will have to find some way to keep Miss Chacha safe.

In other words... your sakabatou has a defensive purpose. A blunt edge opposes a major resistance against a sharp one. It is a clever weapon, no one would realize at first sight.

I wonder if it is forbidden to work as a team just to obtain the egg. Then each one would prepare their own secret recipe.
