I don't think they have hammers here. I haven't seen any. There might be hatchets in the trading post. But you could probably just use a rock instead. What do you need a hammer for?

It would seem that the rocks I have at my dissposal are not as hard as the ones keeping my feet togethere. If there are no hammes I suppose I could manage to learn how to hop around but it is rather ineffisient.

It is nice to here from someone I have not met though, I am Captain Carrot Ironfoundersson of the Ankh-Morpork Watch. I have discovered in my patrol that this place is not from any country I know of on Discworld though. I am begginning, to suspect this is not Discworld.

It would seem that way, though it is more preferable to having the rest of my body stuck in rock which is how I think I was before as there seems to be an excesse off rubble around, some of it looking like my face. I don't know how long I was like this but it was definitely between the time I left on patrol on the island and when I noticed that I was in here and my feet were stuck together, and began to write my abouve message. It must have been longer than a month as I was here before you.

You say this is Earth? This makes contacting Angua and Cmr. Vimes considerably more difficult. I have never heard of Earth. Is it possible to send letters to Discworld from it?

I believe I meant meet! I couldn't eat another person. I stay on a strict dwarven diet of dwarf bread, rats and occasionally fungi. It is quite enough for me. Cmr. Vimes does say that my speeling and gramma could use, some improvement.

Yeah as far as I know it's earth. I mean, I don't think even the Beagles have enough money to send me on a spaceship. There's mail but I don't think it goes to other worlds. Anyway, nothing that leaves this Island as far as I know.

I woulde not say creepy so much as disorientating. Trolls are made out of rock and seem to have little issue though they do cause some annoyances for dwarfs when they are mining.

I don't quite know who the beagles are, but I think I have heard of spaceships. Leonard of Quirm has something called a Kite which goes into space. It is not something I would like to try again. Maile will most definitely be a probleme. How disappointing to be on another world and then being stuck in one place!

I will have to try harder not to make any missspellings like that again!

Beagles are this band from where I'm from and they're jerks and the lead singer is really REALLY creepy. Way worse than being stuck in stone creepy.

I certainly have met trolls, Sgt. Deitrus is a fine Watchman... Do you mean Tooth Fairies? I hear their franchyse is doing well lately, but they're usually just young girls making A Living. Sgt. Deitrus did once arrest a troll claiminge to be a Tooth Fairy but usually, they keep to themselves. I haven't met any personally but sometimes I see them around with their ladders and pliers. You aske as if you've never met any Tooth Fairies or Trolls yourself are they rare here on Earth?

The Beagles are a band you say? Are they one of the normal bands or do they do that music with rocks in it that is becoming quite popular? I can't say that I'm a big fan of it, but it does have a good beat!

I'm sure these Beagles can't be too bad though. Sometimes people just need to talk.

I'm quite sure Leonard called it a Kite when we went under Discworld up to Cori Celesti. Perhaps that is not a spaceship but it is certainly differrent from the kites children play with. It is shaped a bit like an eagle holding a lizard and is powered by swamp dragons. Even though they are explosive they worked quite well, until they stopped working for a while.

Tooth Fairies are real? Why didn't they ever come to my house? I don't think they like me. :( I want to meet the fairy queen. Not tooth fairy, the fairies that look like flowers. In their land of magic. Ahhhh...

They do rock music but I don't think there's any actual rocks involved. Just guitars and drums and stuff. They're really bad. The stole Sho's music and did a crap job of it, and then the main guy tried to kidnap me and did some sort of creepy mind-control thing.

You certainly could break something with this rock, but I wouldn't suggest it. Violense Is Never The Answer. You could get into trouble with your local oarthorities, and disputes are better worked out by talking.

Tooth Fairies are certainly real, but I don't think they don't like you. Perhaps your parents did not fill in the correckt paperwork. I am not sure how it operates as Tooth Fairies do not visit the mines so they never came for my teeth either. I have never heard of magick fairies that look like flowers though, maybe the Wizards know some. I don't think there is a fairy queen but if you applied for employmente with the Tooth Fairies, you might meet the founder.

Do you not have Dragons either? Swamp Dragons are common pets in Ankh-Morpork at least, we often get called in when they explode uneckspectedly. It is good that you do not have Noble Dragons though, they are quite dangerous.

I am not familliar with Watanuki either, but it it is most unfortunate he was posessed. If you don't minde me asking, what was Watanuki posessed with? I am not familiar with magick but it is often talked about. If Watanuki is fine no then I'm sure it is not really much to be worried about though.

If Watuanuki knows where this hammer is, I would be most pleased to find it!
